At the inauguration ceremony, Kakashi, the Sixth Hokage of the village, expresses his relief at transferring to the mantle of Hokage. Hinata arrives at the ceremony but does not find out about Naruto. Getting worried, she rushes home to check on them.

At home, Boruto & Himawari are fighting over a stuffed panda that Himawari wants to take with her but Boruto tells that it is embarrassing for him to bring this in front of the villagers. As a result, the teddy bear rips apart & their quarrel ends up.

Himawari gets angry & awakens the Byakugan and moves to attack a frightened Boruto with her Halted Chakra point. Getting confused, Naruto tries to stop the fight and interferes with them.

But, suddenly, Himawari’s finger is stuck in his abdomen, and Naruto, therefore, falls unconscious causing Kurama who react agonizingly. When Hinata arrives, she finds Naruto unconscious and says that Naruto’s condition will last for the whole day.

Iruka tells that Naruto will be facing a much more difficult time in the future. At home, Hinata finds Naruto unconscious with his tenketsu closed and wonders who could have done it. Upstairs, Boruto hides in a closet from his sister, Himawari.

In the present, Boruto thinks about the bitterness toward Naruto for

little time at home from when he becomes a Hokage and the reason constantly deteriorates the relationship between father & son. Boruto perceives Naruto’s Hokage cloak is inside out & he secretly becomes happy to see his father comes back home.

After returning home, Naruto gets worried for Himawari and starts clumsily interacting with Boruto. Hence, a ridiculous fight starts between them regarding what Himawari should eat. Hinata then throws both of them outside for making so much noise.

Naruto offers Boruto to eat with him seeing that his kid is hungry and takes him to Ramen Ichiraku, where they are welcomed by Ayame.

They meet there with Choji and Chocho who come to give a tough completion of eating & hopes to break the record for the most bowls of ramen eaten, but the two Akimichi end the competition at the draw and could not break the highest record of the score holder.

At home, Hinata sees the pictures of Naruto’s Hokage ceremony and reminds them of the flashback of the day. At the end of the episode, it seems that although Boruto behaves bitterly with his father, he appreciates Naruto even more than that.

His anger appears for the only reason is that his father’s absent for their special days anymore. Naruto states that the whole village is now his family and he will do his best to save the village & bear out all his responsibilities properly as well. Naruto still runs behind his dream.
