The plot starts two years after the Great Ninja War, where the sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake learns that the Moon will collide with Earth.
This disaster was planned to be caused by Toneri Otsutsuki, a successor of the Sage of Six Paths’ twin brother Hamura Otsutsuki.
At Rinne Festival, Hinata knits a red scarf in memory of the one Naruto wore in the academy.
